Don't be too greedy and chase after money or status. Don't be too greedy. What need is there to be greedy? Cultivators are seeking to establish more chapters. They say, "I want more chapters, one chapter in America, one in Taiwan, one in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Europe. I should establish a chapter in every country. That way I can occupy and expand my territory." Arguments and friction will come along with those territories, which should be avoided. If people invite you, then you can go with the flow. That is totally fine. However, if people don't invite you and you say, "You should invite me or else I will cast a voodoo spell on you. I will cast voodoo upon you. I will make you pay for it!" then that is not righteous. Let things happen naturally.

It is the same way with fame. It is not good to excessively crave fame. If you are capable of attaining fame, then [fame] will naturally come to you. Go with the flow. You don't need to ask for fame. Fame will automatically come to you. It is wrong of you to ask for fame. Don't ask for it. That is the teaching of Grand Master. Your actions must be appropriately justified. You must take the middle approach regarding wealth, fame, or territory. The most important task for a cultivator is to unite with the personal deity, to unite as one entity. We will all "ding ding" one day. We will all depart from the world one day. An enlightened person will think, "What really belongs to me? Nothing belongs to me."
