However, it is just that things happen in order. Lotus Haoming attained realization first and he also renounced first, so he should naturally be given the lineage dharma king robe first (applause).

Master Lianhan wrote his realization note one time. Can I disclose it (laughter)? Where is Master Lianhan sitting? It doesn't matter. The truth is the truth. The first time he wrote the realization note to me I said, "I say no" (Grand Master spoke in English). He sent me another one and I said, "I say no." The third time I said, "I say no." The fourth time, "I say no." The fifth time, "I say no." All no, no, no, and no. They were all negative. Finally, he came to a central point and I pushed him more and asked, "what is beyond that? What is it? What is beyond what you have written?" Eventually, he attained enlightenment (applause).

There is one person who doesn't need to renunciate and that is Yu Meng You, an enlightened one. She wrote a few sentences and showed her enlightenment already (applause). Excellent, excellent. I used the "push strategy." I pushed everyone... pushed, pushed, pushed, pushed, and pushed them towards the emptiness. I pushed people to aspire for enlightenment. What is enlightenment? What did Shakyamuni Buddha realize? I pushed them towards the emptiness. That is right.
