曾經，他們用強壯的肩膀扛起幼小的我們，咬緊牙根，忍苦前行，不怨悔。

如今，我們的肩膀強壯了，亦然扛起下一代，而他們卻逐漸老去。

回頭望，他們吃力喘氣地拖著殘軀，老遠地被丟在後頭；他們在艷陽下漸行漸緩，在風雨中露宿街頭，最終在孤寂中，慢慢地閉上雙眼，悄然逝去。給老人這種結局，您忍心嗎？

為此，霹靂華光功德會，秉持著：『夕陽很美麗，老人不孤寂』的信念，於2006年建立一所老有依養、老有安樂的家---【平和養老院】。

俗語說：『三人能省力，四人更輕鬆，眾人團結緊，百事能成功』。估計耗資三百萬馬幣的平和養老院，雖已動工，但能否成功，還需要你我有大錢出大錢，有小錢出小錢，出大力，號召身邊的親朋好友贊助及出席【人人一份愛，處處有溫情】感恩宴！

為善的有福了，天必報之以福；關愛老人的有福了，天必報之以友愛的後代。因為有您，老人不再孤寂！感謝您！

Dear supporter,

We request the honor of your presence at the Fundraising Night (held for the construction of PING HE Home for The Aged).

They, once sturdy and energetic, shouldered the burden of bringing us up to what we are today. And now we are in turn strong enough to shoulder the burden of bringing up our own children. But alas, senility and fragility have relentlessly set upon them, our beloved parents.

Don't humanity and conscience break our hearts upon seeing them left all alone to stagger through the harsh realities of isolated life in old age, with no home and no one around to attend to their needs?

While the sun shines brilliantly on everyone, the aged should not be left alone living in the dark. The Lotus Light Charity Society, spurred on by a strong sense of destiny, has taken on the mission to build a home for them and to free them from poverty, isolation and neglect.

The construction of the Home complete with all the necessary facilities costs approximately RM3 million, which has yet to be attained. Although construction work is now underway, the Home will only come into being with your support.

We appeal for your contributions to enable the home to be set up successfully and with your assistance, the old and needy will have a home to stay in and be taken care of. We cordially invite you to participate in the following events of the Appreciation Night in accordance with your contributions.

PING HE Home for the Aged Free & non-profit-making

和平養老院座落於霹靂州務邊拉彎古打區69252地段，為一座兩層樓的建築，佔地兩英畝，可容納一百位老人。

PING HE Home for the Aged, is a double-storey building situated at Lot 69252,Lawan Kuda, 31600 Gopeng, Perak. Its compound covers on area of two acres and thus can house as many as a hundred aged people.
