在蓮生活佛盧勝彥大師文集「月光流域」，書中文章「遊戲」還描寫：

「適應環境是什麼？我覺得好像是『遊戲』，是一種玩耍，隨著緣份而走，隨著緣份去覺悟，那就是『緣覺』了。緣覺是應該沉默的時候，我就沉默了；緣覺應該退隱的時候，我就退隱了；緣覺應該如何穿衣的時候，我就如何穿衣了。我不再猶疑，我有決心，應該怎麼做，就怎麼做，只要得到正覺，不理會他人的目光。」

「What is adapting to environment? It is as if it was a game, a play. I have to let the nature take its course and gain realization as the affinity changes around me. Such is called Realization by Affinity. When the affinity is for silence, I will remain silent. When the affinity is for retreat, I must go and live a reclusive life. When affinity teaches one the proper way of clothing then I should learn how. There is no hesitation. I am quite sure that I should do what I have to.
